GETTING USE TO IT | DAILY BLOGGING #DAY3

THURSDAY
DAY 3

Entering into day 3 of this challenge is exciting. I don't know why, but it feels as if I am doing it for weeks now. I always have to be careful and just can't have anything. But the thing is that it is making me very organised. I am always carrying my water bottle. I am always checking the calorie content first and then deciding what to go for. All of this is amazing because we always know what is right. But some laziness and ignorance makes us ignore all of this. And writing down each day and the pressure to live up to my own expectations is actually working for me.

Alright, so today we are again aiming to consume calories less than 1500. And that does not mean to starve yourself. We will definitely enjoy our food and just keep an eye on to what we can have and what not.

6:40 A.M.
My mom is sweet enough to get me a bed green tea every morning. I am not a morning person but that tea definitely makes my day. Also the fact that it only contains two calories in it.
Alright just a disclaimer,

" After Drinking green tea there are high chances that you may need to run towards loo,
 as fast as you can. For the obvious reasons."

Just saying! That is what happens to me every time.

10:30 A.M.
I am loving how gradually breakfast is happening everyday. Earlier, I always used to miss my breakfast. Or it used to happen around 12 p.m. which is something between breakfast and lunch. Breakfast being the first meal of the day is very important. I am definitely not going leave having breakfast. Today, I am having my favourite gram flour cheela (286 calories) in breakfast. Had two of them with some buttermilk( 40 calories). Do you like buttermilk? 
Buttermilk is really very good for digestion and you should definitely try this. This combination was yummy and definitely satisfied my taste buds.

I am also planning to have a mango today. If you have read my precious blog, then you could have guessed how badly I want to have it. If not then do check that out here.



Sometimes, I do feel like having something between breakfast and lunch. It didn't disturb me that much because work kept me busy. But I am thinking of having fruits or some light savories when I feel hungry. Also the shift from that usual diet sometimes just forces to have something even when you are not hungry. Also, today my elder brother told me that five meals per day are preferable. I am thinking of doing that also. Right now, I am mainly focusing on the calorie part and then will gradually shift to others. He also said that my blogs may get boring and I should add some spice in it. So to make my blogs more interesting, tomorrow we will have all the spices in here ( Okay, that was a bad one.).

So now the clock is signing us to move towards the second meal of the day. I am absolutely well but I still had this in my dinner.

2:00 P.M.
Khichdi!
I am not saying that it is only meant for someone who is not well. But that is how it feels like. Thankfully, my mom cooks delicious khichdi and some curd makes it even better. This one was a mix of rice and mung beans. It has 250 calories in it and curd has 98 in it. It was a light meal and I loved it because after this......MANGO HAPPENED. I so wanted to have a mango yesterday, But couldn't have one. I deliberately made some space in for my mango. Loved it! It was as if I have literally earned it. Mango gave me 60 calories more. 

I know that it doesn't look that great but it tastes amazing. 

5:45 P.M.
Tea Time
Now I know why people love it. It actually cools you down even though it is hot. But the sad part being that these days I am not able to have  it with my family. As during this time I am always busy teaching and thus have to have it alone. I definitely miss having it with them but they are just in the other room only. Today I tried something new which is fruit rusk. And you would not believe these small rusks contains 150 calories in each. If the calorie part wouldn't have been there then I would have easily has 3-4 of them. But I settled down on 2. 

7:50 P.M.
Today my dinner was in two parts. First of all I had a cup of tomato soup because I love it. Then came to know that mom cooked some yummy rice and dal. And ended up having some of it as well. But I did not forget to check that whether I can have it or not. Did had some calories left and enjoyed my Rice Dal as well.


When the last spoon full of soup was in my stomach. That is when I realized that I was suppose to click a picture.  As they say,

"Something is  better than nothing"

So here it is. I always learn from my mistakes and did take a picture of my other meal before hogging.

These two together costed 392 calories. Today in total I had 1368 calories. Which means that I have completed today's task.

Thinking of adding something more in my diet from tomorrow. I think from 3 liters, we should move towards 4 liters. Although 2-3 liters of water a day is fine. But I want to do it because 3 liters is becoming a calk walk for me now.

You would not believe but I use to not even have a liter. I don't know why. Water is really important and please do not ignore it. We should definitely keep a watch on consumption of water.
