HOW TO STOP PROCRASTINATING | DAILY BLOGGING #DAY1

DAY 1

This is the first day of  our daily blogging and "FAT TO FIT" CHALLENGE. When I was a kid, then I used to be excited for even the smallest thing. There was a passion to do everything with conviction. I feel that enthusiasm is no more left in me. The fear to fail has overpowered everything.

Why am I talking about this in here?

I guess that enthusiasm needs to be brought back. This challenge would be incomplete if we do not show our passion towards it. When you wake up in the morning, remind yourself of all the things you want. Create positive vibes around yourself and then kick start the day. I have always procrastinated but while writing this blog I feel I know hoe to stop that. Just tell your mind to shut up and start working your goal. With that said, let's begin with the breakfast!

11:00 A.M.
I try to eat my breakfast till 10'o clock. But today I woke up a bit late and thus the breakfast happened accordingly.  Today I knew that the lunch would be a bit heavier. Thus the breakfast has to be kept light to maintain the calorie balance. So I went for a cup of rooh afza milk with four wheat flour biscuits. Fun fact, I thought that it is a bit on the lighter side. But I ended up consuming 481 calories in my breakfast only. 


This made me survive for 2-3 hours and after that my stomach was calling for food. And it was also time for some lunch. I was waiting for mom to come back from school. So that we can have lunch together. Also the heat outside was killing and I ended up taking a leave from work. 


 PS: Oops! I forgot to tell that before breakfast I had a cup of green tea at 6:40 in the morning.  


3:00 P.M.
Lunch Time!
A little disaster happened in here. The food was not made at home by me because I was not feeling well. We ordered food, actually my brother ordered and the rest is history. So my plate from no angle looks like a plate of someone who is dieting. Now, I have to exercise more shit! 

Even though I do not want to show the spread but here it is,


So in there we have some fry dries with Manchurian and soya chaap with chapatti. Why am I doing this to myself! But I really controlled myself and did not go all crazy to stuff myself. I literally had this much and after having it did walk for 10 minutes. Later had a glass of warm water to reduce my guilt. Here in I consumed 1041 calories roughly ( don't worry it is the maximum possible). I guess that is it I do not have much to say about this.


The important part is that you should not exceed the amount of calories you used to intake. Which in my case is around 2300. Which is 300 more than the normal value to maintain your weight. And in case of women, we need to take around 1500 calories per day to loose a pound per week. Today I have already exceeded it. So kindly take care that you do not do that. As the lunch went over board, then the dinner needs to be lighter.


6:00 P.M.
Tea time!
Although I am not too fond of tea but having a cup doesn't harm. My mother needs at least two cups of tea every day. And because of her we have this fixed time to enjoy our evening tea. We do chit chat in out tea time. Also not to forget, please do not drink tea just like that. Always have it with a savory, I had it with exactly 2 rusks. And in here, I consumed 400 calories.

7:35 P.M.
Dinner has to be the lightest meal of the day. I had some poha in dinner and this was my last meal of the day. Poha or rice flakes are a bit on the healthier side. They are rich in vital minerals and vitamins. So yeah I guess this is a good choice. It gave me 270 calories and with this I had 2192 calories in total.



OTHER THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:

  • I am happy because it is much less than what I usually consume. We will get better each day and every day will teach something new. This was all about the food part but exercise is also important. So for that, I cycled for 40 minutes.

  • I was also taking care of the amount of water I drink. Today I had 3 liters of water. Water intake is very important and one should definitely keep an eye on that. Taking adequate amount of water is really important and beneficial too.

  • And remember to never force your body towards it. It's a gradual process and it's beauty lies in that only.
