YOUR 10 STEPS TOWARDS OPTIMISM!


Optimism, what is it exactly?  Mind full of positive thoughts or the belief in making everything positive. Else, may be making each situation turning your way! Well I believe it is more than that; it does not affect your mind solely, but also plays an important role in your physical well-being. Moreover, it is important to understand that; Optimism is not the over confidence, which says that whatever you wish would happen. Instead, optimism is the belief, which pushes you to work harder and gives you the power of having faith in yourself and making situations turn your way.


Still thinking positively is easily said than done. However, once you hold the hands with optimism, then it will give you a life worth living!
As research suggests seeing the glass, half-full is good for our health, career, and love life.


Thus, it enters your life and gives you some precious gifts. Thus affects each aspect of your life. At some point in your life, optimism may be will be there boosting your career. Alternatively, may be making your relationships stronger than ever or may be keeping you up on your toes, in concern to your health. Well! That is hell lots of benefits, it's like that bumper offer, which no one can afford to lose. Therefore, what could one do to have an optimistic life and attitude towards life? Let me make your work a bit easier, thus, I am listing ten points or ways below, which will lead you towards optimism.

1.TAKE CONTROL!!

It is very important to understand that you are the only one responsible for wherever your life is leading. Thus, it is important to take a seat behind the driver's wheel and drive your way through however you want. It is easy to play the blame game, but it takes a lot of courage in accepting your mistakes. Face yourself in the mirror and say it loudly to yourself that it is you, who controls your life and no one else. Tell yourself that your life would be what you will make it. Thus, it is important to take control my friend!

Promise yourself today, that you will make your life the way you want. You will not be playing any blame games and will instead take the charge and make your life, the way you want it to be!


2.CHOOSE CHALLENGES OVER PROBLEMS:

Look at this picture beside, what do you notice first!
An area covered with snow or the man's face popping up. I am sure that some of you must have noticed the either first and then the second one. It is the same picture we all are viewing then why this difference. Well it just proves that how different people approach different situations differently. 

It is just your perception towards the situation you are facing. What if, I ask you all to get up at five tomorrow and go out for a jog. Then some of you may say that you wouldn't be able to do it as you had a busy day or some other issues you may have. But there would be some people on the flip side, who would conceive this situation as a challenge to themselves and will do it. The difference is only of perception between the champions and the ones who are not. Just see each situation as an opportunity and then give it your best to make most of it. Thus choose challenges over problems and you are half way through optimism.


3.LIFE IS A ROLLER COASTER RIDE!

Would you like to be on a ride without any up and downs? NO! Because those up and down, are the main elements of a ride. If you enjoy ups and down in the ride, then why not in life. What if a ride moves in one direction only! don't you think it will take away all the joy of it. Just approach life the same way, it would not be fun if life moves in one direction. The main spice of life is in these ups and downs; that's what make a life, a real life. Give it a thought my friend!

4.CHOOSE HAPPINESS OVER SADNESS:

Have you ever observed a small child, just getting happy with a small hug from his mom when he is crying? That is because a child does not want much to me happy and instantly chooses happiness over sadness. As we all grow up, we forget the joys and surround ourselves with sadness.

Just imagine that your flight is delayed by one hour and you have to reach on time for work. Instantly you will start feeling low and sad; But hey you have got some time for yourself go have your favorite meal or may be a cup of coffee and a good magazine along. Being sad is not going to help you, but making the same situation into a happier one would definitely will. Always remember that happiness is around you only, just allow yourself to find it (may be like those pokemons).  

5.GRATITUDE:

Gratitude should be your attitude! We hear some quotes or may search for them to put up on status on social media. However, it is important to understand the meaning and importance of these as well. Just putting up a quote like this is not going to change your attitude. Be grateful for what you have as may be out there are so many people still wishing for what you already have. Being grateful, shifts your focus from things you wish to the things you already have and cherish them.

6.OPTIMISTIC SURROUNDING:

As soon as we enter temple's premises, we immediately feel at peace. Thus, surroundings play an important role in the working of our mind and managing our mood swings. Therefore, it is important to surround yourself with optimistic people. Optimistics will automatically drive you towards it without you even realizing it.
So think who are those in your life, who immediately brings a smile on your face when around. Remember they are the ones who know how to live the life to the fullest and they can make you do that too. Be around them!


7.AFFIRMATION AND VISUALISATION:

It has been only six months that I have started affirmation and visualization exercise, a part of my life. You know it is important to wake up every day and remind yourself the goals you want to achieve and then visualizing them is like cherry on the cake. Try it for one month and you will yourself see the change in yourself. As you have reminded yourself the things you want to achieve and believing that you have already achieved them is a great feeling. Just try this for only one month my friend and if it does not make a difference then feel free to blame me in the comment section below.


8.WRITE IT DOWN!


What do you do when you go to bed at night? Well until this time, you have ended your day and are going to bed to get energy for tomorrow. However, do you know that following a habit before sleeping can change your life? Well it's just a simple exercise but leaves a huge impact on you. 

Writing your achievements from that small little help to getting a promotion. Everything is important, as it makes you realize that what you have gained today. In addition, thus gives you the confidence for getting up tomorrow and achieving more. Therefore, what are you waiting for "write it down"!
9.SMILE IT OUT!

Hey you! Yeah, you the one behind that device. What is your problem; why don’t you smile. Now do not tell me that you need a reason to smile. Well if you think that a reason is necessary, let me give you one. You are alive and your loved ones are around you, isn't this enough to smile. It does not take much to smile but it does give you a lot of happiness in return. So smile!

10.STOP!!

That is what you need to do, stop and feel that cold breeze or stop and appreciate the way your mother takes care of you. In today's time everyone is running after materialistic things and thus it is important to stop and appreciate those little things in life. Time is running and hence once gone, then it is never going to come back. So stop running and start enjoying those little joys of life. Do not wait for the right time to celebrate, instead make each time right for celebration. While running after materialistic things, we leave things behind which are much more valuable and precious. So stop it right now friend and start enjoying those little joys.
